Benjifah
This is Ben, he is a Palamino gelding. Born in 1973 (NOT a typo, he's an old boy!)
Ben was used as a gaming horse and was cleaning up at the local
shows until the age of 27!. Now he has an easy, relaxing life
by teaching beginner riders how to ride. He absolutely LOVES
children and gives them kisses as often as he can. When no one
is paying attention to him, he will bump your arm with his nose
as if to say;"I'm here too ya know!"
In Bens earlier days he was used as a grand prix jumper and apparently did very
well! When he arrived at our stable we decided this boy liked
to run, so we got him hooked on gaming!
He loves to show off! Each time we leave to a show without him, he
whinnys and gallops around the field as if to say, "I wanna come too!!!"
His best friend in the field is our Andalusian X, Magnum. They go everywhere together.
Ben's show days have been slowed down to leadline classes and
fun days but he still loves to be in the spot light!
Ben is our top escape act in the barn. When you take a look at
his stall latch you can see all the thought we put into it
keeping him safely inside it for show nights. He has three
different locks on the door. the first two he figures out quite
simply, but the third has kept him in, finally!
He loves to show off!
When we first discovered that Ben had figured out how to get
out of his stall it was the night before a show. Ben was to
show in leadline with a 8 year old girl as his rider. Everyone
was nicely brushed and braided and tucked into their stall for
the night. Sometime in the middle of the night Ben had let
himself out of his stall, got into the feed room, dragged out a
whole sweet feed bin into the middle of all the stalls and ate
half of it in front of all the horses! He was quite happy in
the show ring! But, his rider and him, ended up placing first in their
class!

classes and fun days but he still loves to be in the spot light!
