Ty is our brown leopard appaloosa. He
is approximately 10 years old and stands 15.2hh.
Ty came to us on April 3rd, 2003.
He is fantastic to have in our herd. Such a sweet guy. He
is always seeking attention from anyone he can get close to.
Ty had come to our barn with the same name as
another horse of ours. I tested him to see if he knew it.
He didn't seem to have a clue who I was talking to, so the
decision was made to change his name for a less confusing
atmosphere.
We had thought long and hard for a solid week, trying to
come up with "the perfect name" for him. Since he was an
Appaloosa, I had thought that possibly a Native name would
suit him. Unfortunately, any name that we had found was either
hard to pronounce or the meaning of it did not suit Ty's
personality.
We were stuck. Then I got to thinking about how I got Ty...
the only reason why I could get him was because I sell TY
Beanie Babies on Ebay, so we decided on "Ty" as his barn name.
We have found the perfect show name for Ty now. "Tymeless
Classic".
Ty is a very sweet horse, he will come right up to you in the
field or follow you around like a lost puppy. He's a nice ride
for the novice kids and up and has made a fantastic show horse
